*The central idea of my concentration is still the story of Flight. Through these four works, I am progressing through the dragon's story as well as filling in parts to let you get a better understanding of what happened in between the beginning artworks. I'm hoping the story shows growth of the creature, as well as how it struggles to get free of the subterranean "cage" and gain the ability to fly (though in the 8th artwork, it shows that it is unable to fly, and resorts to crawling around on all fours)

*The 5th artwork is really the only one that truly progresses the story, while the other three are just used to fill in blanks in the story (the 6th one shows how it fell from its perch, the 7th one shows how the creature was forcefully hatched, and the 8th one shows how it began on its way to the tree, which might be the only way out of the "cage" without flying). The works demonstrate exploration of my idea by showing how it was flung from its home, then broken free of (symbolically) its 'other' home as well as its 'first' prison. Also showing that even though it is out of its 'first' prison, it must find a means of escape from its 'second' prison.
